Court register entry of the act of execution of the Radom Tribunal decree concerning the overcharging of the Jews from Bircza with the poll tax
Execution in front of the gate of the school of the Jewish synagogue in Przemyśl on the 17th April 1748 of the decree of the Radom Tribunal of the 15th June 1747 brought to the Tribunal by the Błońskis from Biberstyn, the landlords of the town of Bircza, as well as the leaseholders of the inns in Bircza, against the rabbis: Michał Szmujłowicz from Przemyśl, Moszek Szmojłowicz from Jarosław, Major Oszorowicz from Dobromil, the land elders, concerning the overcharging with the poll tax and taking over of the villages of Malowa and Lipa. Hersz Hendlowicz, a Jewish schoolteacher from Przemyśl, objected to the execution, claiming that neither the elders of the Przemyśl synagogue nor the Jews of Przemyśl imposed or collected the taxes or were involved in this case.
